This build-to-suit in Desert Mountain faced design challenges with the large Galloway Wash below the rear patio and pool. Incorporating concrete cut off walls and scour protection, the foundation for this home was a significant engineering feat. The incorporation of glass walls under cantilevered steel canopy roofs created a seamless transition from inside to out. All material selections were a collaboration between the homeowner and Chris Kitchen, including custom made white oak lighting fixtures and the “meteor shower” clad shower. Quartz stone veneer, copper fascia, and extensive mid-century inclusions highlight this home.
