This modern Sonoran Desert home brings cutting edge construction techniques together with timeless architectural materials to create an innovative home with character. Utilizing the work of a steel contractor who normally builds skyscrapers in Phoenix, Salero was able to create structural reality. Use of CorTen steel, EIFS exterior cladding, and vertical grain fir with a marine-grade spar varnish creates a home requiring minimal maintenance ideal for the northern Scottsdale climate. Thoughtful layout provides each room with an exceptional view of the Continental Mountains, the Sagauros, the littered boulders, and of course, the 15th hole.
